When Property Taxes Are Due

Property taxes are billed annually but paid in four installments. Most NJ towns offer a 10-day grace period.

2026 Filing & Appeal Dates

Jan 15: Burl/Glouc Appeals
Deadline for Burlington and Gloucester County property tax appeals. Applications must be received by 4:00 PM.
Apr 1: Camden Appeals
Deadline for Camden County and most other NJ municipalities. Failing to file on time bars your right to appeal.
Aug 1: Farmland Assessment
Final day to file Farmland Assessment applications with your local municipal assessor.
Nov 2: PAS-1 & ANCHOR
The absolute final deadline for all 2026 senior and homeowner relief programs. No exceptions.
