Camden County Equalization Ratios by Municipality

The equalization ratio is the percentage at which your home is assessed relative to its true market value. Divide your assessed value by this ratio to find your implied market value — the key number in any tax appeal.

How to use this table: Find your town. Divide your assessed value by the ratio (as a decimal). Compare that number to what similar homes are actually selling for. If your implied market value is significantly higher than actual sales, you likely have an appeal case. Full appeal guide →

Camden County Appeal Tips

Cherry Hill, Voorhees, and Haddon Township have seen significant appreciation in recent years. If your home's assessed value hasn't been updated since before the market run-up, you may actually be under-assessed — check the math before filing. For homes in older assessment cycles (Pennsauken, Lindenwold), the gap between assessed and market value can be larger and appeals more common.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the property tax appeal deadline for Camden County?
The standard deadline is April 1 of the tax year, or 45 days from the date your assessment notice was mailed — whichever is later. If you received your notice in February, count 45 days from that mailing date, as this may give you slightly more time. Always confirm with the Camden County Board of Taxation at (856) 225-5238.
Do Camden County seniors need to file a separate ANCHOR form?
No. Camden County residents who are 65 or older (or receiving Social Security Disability) should file the PAS-1 combined form — not the standard ANC-1 ANCHOR form. The PAS-1 covers ANCHOR, Stay NJ, and Senior Freeze simultaneously. File at propertytaxrelief.nj.gov by November 2, 2026.
Where do I find my Camden County block and lot number?
Your block and lot number is printed on every property tax bill you receive from your municipality. It is also listed on your property deed and is searchable through your municipality's tax records. You'll need this for both the ANCHOR/PAS-1 application and any appeal filing.
Can I appeal my Camden County property taxes and still receive ANCHOR?
Yes — these are completely independent processes. Filing a property tax appeal does not affect your eligibility for ANCHOR, Stay NJ, Senior Freeze, or any other state relief program. You can and should pursue both.
My Camden County home was recently reassessed. Can I still appeal?
Yes. Even in a reassessment year, you have the right to appeal the new assessed value. In fact, reassessment years are often when the most successful appeals occur, as individual properties can be reassessed inconsistently. File by April 1 with comparable sales data from your neighborhood.
